I have worked at a few different facilities and Pomeroy Assisted is the best facility I’ve experienced. It is an honor being apart of Pomeroy’s family. I absolutely love coming to work. Everyday, I walk into a nice and clean environment filled with beautiful smiles and high spirits. The staff here are phenomenal with the residents and with one another. Together, we go the extra mile to ensure the safety and happiness of our residents. Each day the residents are served great food and they are offered many different fun activities to do, in which they enjoy. Our residents are top priority. We love, respect, and admire each and every one of them. The best way I can describe Pomeroy is a home away from home. If I had to choose a place for my loved one I would definitely choose Pomeroy. ~ Antonia G

The Rochester assisted living facility has been great for my mom. They provide abundant activities throughout the day, work to get the residents engaged in those activities, which really helps with the cognitive and physical focus for mom. The exercise class, with most residents in wheelchairs, including my mom, is a great way to keep the blood flowing and the mind stimulated. As with all nursing homes, there are issues and challenges. Pomeroy works hard to keep the right balance, to motivate their staff, to work through issues when they arise, and to keep the family of residents engaged. To this, I commend them. I've visited Pomeroy Living Assisted Living Rochester several times over the past few months and I've been very impressed. Last year the building was bought by Pomeroy and you can really tell the new owners have taken it to the next level. The building is gorgeous, always spotless and the folks who live there seem very happy and social. As someone who has seen a lot of assisted and independent living facilities in my line of work, I can honestly say that if my folks need AL/IL this would be the first place I'd bring them to tour. ~ Luke G

Pomeroy Independent Living, Rochester Hills is a wonderful place to live and work. Our employees make sure that the residents are happy! Activity department has many activities for residents to do. I hear residents singing, playing bingo or see residents doing arts & crafts just to name a few. There are great options on the menu. When speaking with the residents, they tell me the food is great! Pomeroy Assisted Living rocks! I love all of the Residents, Staff, and Management. I look forward to coming in everyday; when I'm not here I'm thinking about the residents. I have gained lots of experience here. I would recommend that you give them a shot. My advice, be compassionate in everything you do; You will fall in love with the Pomeroy family as I did. The staff at Pomeroy Assisted Living put forth great efforts to make sure that all of the residents feel comforted and safe. The Activities team does an outstanding job at planning fun things for the residents to do on a daily basis. This company remains Covid-19 free! Keep up the great work! ~ Holly F

My mom went her for rehab after having back surgery. She’s almost 80. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and facility. Very clean. She enjoyed the food. Never had to wait for someone when she needed something. Highly recommend ~ Chris W

Upper management has an amazing vision on how to set them apart and raise the standards for Senior care. I was truly impressed which is hard to do. Unfortunately, the community level ED isn’t motivated to be open enough to learn from them which has a negative effect on the outcomes at this community. This fact saddens my heart but hopefully, something will trickle down from the top and the community will one day be the best it can be. ~ anthony k
